Tattoo Shops and Artists will often replicate Sak Yant Tattoo's using incorrect images they find online. These designs are meaningless as often the magical script is incorrect or not changed by the artist (unable to read them). In addition a Real Sak Yant will require a ritual and blessing in a sacred space, not in a tattoo shop room, surrounded by other people getting tattoos.

Ajarn Mat is an enthusiast of traditional Thai Culture, being a teacher of both Muay Thai Boxing and the Sak Yant Tattoo. Sak Yant Master Mat is a student of Sak Yant Master Thoy who before agreeing to teach Mat the Magic of Sak Yant, made him learn the Thail Language, then additionally Lanna Language, Khom (the magical text used in Sak Yant) and made him become ordained as a Monk.
Ajarn Mat did all of these things and maintains a daily ritual of meditation, prayers and ritual, while continuing to further his understanding with frequent visits to Thailand to study with other Sak Yant Masters.
Ajarn Thoy officially performed the ceremony to make Ajarn Mat and Ajarn Pinky an Master in March 2016. Ajarn Mat was ordained as a Buddhist Monk in March 2019 at Wat Khaodin Siriwattana in Nakorn Sawan.
Ajarn Mat speaks English and is able to offer real and authentic Sak Yant designs and rituals, modifying the text and preforming specialized magical blessings in the ancient languages of Thai Buddhist Sak Yant.

Ajarn Matt was born in 1972 in France. He started to meet Thai masters in 2009 and got tattooed with sacred designs since then by 25 Ajarns and started studying Sak Yant’s art. This was a big change in his life and he traveled all over Thailand to meet and get inspired by hundreds of sacred tattoo masters.
In 2013 he first becomes the student of Phra Ajarn Man and started learning magic from Luang-Phor Nong-Pawan and Luang Pu-Nai’s lineage with him. At first he practiced Sak Yan in the temple of Wat Waruwan in Pathum-Thani. In the same year the great Sak Yan master Ajarn Thong decided to take the new Ajarn Matt under his patronage and made him the great honor of «Kob Tamla» and «Kob Khem» the highest blessing for Sak Yan masters and encouraged Ajarn Matt to practice and learn spells from the famous Phor Tiang’s lineage.
In December 2013 Ajarn Matt was ordained as a monk in Wat Waruwan in Pathum-Thani. Since then Ajarn Matt started traveling all over Europe and Asia. The late Ajarn Dech Theppatnom later became a mentor to Ajarn Matthieu then in 2016, the famous Poo Lersi Sompit followed by Ajarn Po Dam in 2019 also became his masters. Now Ajarn Matt who lives in HuaHin with his wife Ajarn Rung who is also a talented Sak Yant master uses his time between learning magic from his teachers, traveling and practicing Sak Yan as well as making traditional Sak Yan tools and amulets.
